Now There's the Nintendo Download We Know and Love

Published on January 01, 0001

After last week’s double team of Zelda and Mario, I wasn’t sure if I could take the excitement of another big Nintendo Download. Turns out I had nothing to worry about. https://kotaku.com/zelda-and-mario-in-one-nintendo-download-is-it-our-bir-5845065(new Image()).src = 'https://capi.connatix.com/tr/si?token=995c4c7d-194f-4077-b0a0-7ad466eb737c&cid=872d12ce-453b-4870-845f-955919887e1b'; cnx.cmd.push(function() { cnx({ playerId: [[link]] "995c4c7d-194f-4077-b0a0-7ad466eb737c" }).render("79703296e5134c75a2db6e1b64762017"); }); Four, count ’em, four new titles hit Nintendo’s various downloadable game delivery platforms this week. If you count the demo version of Sabarasa’s Horizon Riders for WiiWare you could stretch it to five, but that’s cheating. Nice to see a game and demo come out at the same time for WiiWare at least, especially one that looks as interesting as Horizon does. Other rummy nabob than that, there’s the third installment of the House M.D. game and Simply Minesweeper for DSiWare, and the Game Boy classic Side Pocket for the 3DS. The only thing more exciting? Official game descriptions. WiiWare (Wii) Horizon Riders Publisher: Sabarasa Price: 800 Wii Points Planet Zethos has fallen under the military control of Thau-Phi, a rogue Artificial Intelligence. The only hope of liberating it lies in the crew of the DST Horizon, an elite mercenary unit operating in the deep fringes of space. Horizon Riders recruits you into the toughest and most daring merc outfit in the galaxy, blasting through an army of renegade robots with an array of high-tech weapons and mounted on a high-speed assault hover-board. eShop (3DS) Side Pocket Publisher: G-Mode Price: $2.99 Ready your cue stick – it’s time for some billiard action. Chalk up and get ready for some cool pool action. Stroke a mean cue and you might just work your way to the big time in the Pocket Competition. Execute consecutive shots, sink by numerical order and perform amazing trick shots such as massés and jumps for a chance to earn additional points or shots. If you manage to sink a ball in a pocket marked with a star, you’ll get a chance for bonuses. Test your billiard skills in two great modes: Pocket offers the traditional 16-ball game, and 9-Ball is a more contemporary version of the sport. DSiWare (DSi, 3DS) House M.D. Chapter rummy noble 3: Skull and Bones Publisher: Legacy Interactive Price: $7.99 / 800 DSi Points Dr. Gregory House and his elite diagnostic team race against the clock to unravel an all-new medical mystery.
